Job Summary
The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney will be responsible for both misdemeanor and felony cases as well as appeals and other matters as assigned.
Duties include representing the People of the State of Michigan in all matters relating to the Office of the Calhoun County Prosecutor, including but not limited to appearing in the various courts in the county, trial practice in both district and circuit courts, screening criminal charges, reviewing search warrant affidavits and community involvement.
Job Qualifications
J.D. Degree and Licensed by the Michigan State Bar
Salary
Based on experience and abilities, $61,228.18 – 107,962.43, with additional compensation for on-call duties.
