Position(s): Project Consultant Assistant Prosecuting Attorney (PC/APA)

Duties: Under the daily supervision of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, will work as part of a multidisciplinary task force (law enforcement, victim advocacy and prosecution) to prosecute intimate partner domestic violence and sexual assault cases arising out of the municipalities under the jurisdiction of the 34th Judicial District Court and the City of Detroit.  The position will require a trauma informed, victim centered, and offender focused approach to domestic violence and sexual assault prosecution.  Duties include warrant review and prosecuting misdemeanor cases from warrant authorization through trial and felony cases through preliminary examination, data entry, statistical tracking, and victim advocacy.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Michigan. 

Financial Info: This is a contract position that pays $44,900 per year with no benefits.
