ASSISTANT PROSECUTING ATTORNEY II

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Prosecuting Attorney reviews and authorizes requests for felony warrants and prosecutes criminal cases.  Assumes responsibility for felony cases in Circuit Court as well as other matters as necessary.  Responsible for assisting with Probate Court and District Court as needed.

Education:

Law degree from an accredited law school.

Experience:

Two years in criminal law preferred, will review exemplary candidates with less experience. 

Other Requirements:

Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

A Michigan Vehicle Operator’s License.

Salary and Benefits:

$61,854.94 - $80,411.41 A comprehensive benefit package, including health insurance, dental, vision and 401k retirement package, in addition to the salary.
