Part-Time Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney - Iron County

Iron County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Duties include prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, family court matters, appeals and other matters as assigned.

Hours: Position is part-time with variable schedule, averaging 20 hours per week including on-call duties. Schedule is flexible as determined by the Iron County Prosecuting Attorney. Normal office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, however, evenings and weekends may be required.

Requirements: Position requires at a minimum J.D. degree, licensure by and good standing with the Michigan State Bar, plus minimum 3 years criminal law experience and 1 year domestic relations experience. Only qualified applicants meeting minimum requirements will be considered.

Salary: Compensation includes $30,000 annual salary plus competitive benefits.
