April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has designated April as National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.  Police agencies throughout the U.S. will be extra vigilant by enforcing laws that prohibit texting and use of cell phones while driving under the banner of the "U Drive, U Text, U Pay" campaign.

2016 marked the first time since 2007 that Michigan broke the 1000 mark for traffic fatalities.  We need to do all we can to reverse the trend.  Your continued efforts and focus when driving and traveling on our roadways are tremendously appreciated.
