Child Abuse Prosecution Resources Unit

The Child Abuse Prosecution Resource (CAPR) Unit’s mission is to improve the criminal justice system's response child physical and sexual abuse.The unit’s goal is to provide training and technical assistance on the issues surrounding the investigation and prosecution of child physical abuse and sexual abuse cases of children under the age of 18.

The CAPR unit’s primary focus will be on providing statewide and specialized child abuse training to prosecutors utilizing experienced prosecutors from around the state as training partnersalong with other MDT members including law enforcement and system and community-based advocates.
