Child Abuse Prosecution Resource Unit

About Us

The Child Abuse Prosecution Resource (CAPR) Unit’s mission is to improve the criminal justice system’s response to child physical and sexual abuse. The unit’s goal is to provide training and technical assistance on the issues surrounding the investigation and prosecution of child physical abuse and sexual abuse cases of children under the age of eighteen.

The CAPR unit’s primary focus is on providing statewide and specialized child abuse and child sexual abuse training to prosecutors. Experienced professionals from around the state serve as training partners along with other multi-disciplinary team members, including law enforcement and system and community-based advocates.
