Ken is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and the University of Detroit School of Law.

Her career started in Detroit’s district court, where she handled traffic and OWI cases and became one of the office’s “go to” persons for impaired driving cases. Ms. Canike received her Bachelor of Science in journalism from Michigan State University in 2000 and her law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2004. She also interned at several local media outlets, as both a producer and reporter, including HOMTV in Meridian Township, WILX in Lansing, and Michigan Public Radio in Detroit (101.9 FM).
